  1.  Review: 
    1. Duties and Responsibilities of an LEC Officer in the AFA-CWA Constitution & Bylaws
    2. Review the AFA-CWA Election Handbook 
    3. AFA-CWA Mutual Respect Policy
  2. Secure one member from your Local who will sign on as your supporter for LEC Officer
    1. The member must be active (not on a leave of absence) and in good standing.
  3. Complete the Commitment to Serve for one LEC Officer position. 
    1. Add the name and contact details of your supporter
  4. Once verified by AFA Membership Services your name will appear on the election ballot and you are free to campaign as a candidate. 
    1. Notification will be sent to the candidate via email or phone
